How Is Dash Different From Bitcoin?

Dash is a cryptocurrency that was created in 2014. It is based on Bitcoin but has several improvements and upgrades, such as better security and privacy. Dash also offers instant transactions, which makes it one of the fastest growing cryptocurrencies in the world.

Dash was originally called XCoin, but the name was changed to Darkcoin in February 2014 due to the negative connotations associated with the word "dark". Darkcoin then became Dash (a portmanteau of digital cash) in March 2015.

Dash uses a decentralized mastercode network (DMC) to enable private payments through a shared masternode network. Dash's DMC utilizes servers located at random locations across the globe, allowing for increased privacy when making transactions. This makes it much more difficult for anyone to trace transactions back to any one person or entity; not even the Dash developers can track payments made through their system.

Dash's DMC also allows for instant transactions, meaning you don't have to wait 10 minutes for your money to process before you can use it again — your transaction will go through almost immediately after pressing send on your device!
