What Is Dash Cryptocurrency?

Dash cryptocurrency is a digital money which is developed as an open source and operates using a peer-to-peer network. It was initially known as XCoin, but then it was renamed Darkcoin, and later on Dash.

Dash Cryptocurrency is a decentralized cryptocurrency which works on the Proof of Work algorithm. The cryptocurrency was created by Evan Duffield in 2014. It is based on Bitcoin but it has some unique features that make it stand out from other cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin.



The main difference between Dash and Bitcoin is that Dash has an extra feature known as InstantSend which can process transactions within four seconds. This makes Dash more efficient than Bitcoin which takes about ten minutes to complete one transaction.

Dash also has another feature called PrivateSend which uses different denominations to make transactions untraceable by keeping your identity private.
